This high quality professional opportunity will support teachers in delivering a successful music curriculum and preparing for the new Ofsted framework by developing subject knowledge and familiarising themselves with the highly acclaimed, successful and easy to follow Voices Foundation KS1 materials.
Thursday 24th September – 2 x 1 hour sessions – 4:15-5:15pm and 5:30-6:30pm
Melanie Coussins looks at progressive music provision in EY/FS through songs, singing games and rhymes.She will also explore recorder teaching in the classroom using Kodaly methodology, from sound to symbol.
Friday 25th September – 2 and a quarter hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon – 9:30-11:45am and 1-4pm
